Emulation
Once we've reached a commercial agreement, the first step in the integration process is emulation. Trip Ninja sits between you and your data sources to create the best overall itinerary.
Emulation: Emulation refers to the process by which Trip Ninja gains access to the fares and information that your company has through your GDS.
At Trip Ninja, we use your flight inventory to construct itineraries because we're able to access your net fares and construct the best possible overall itinerary. If we'll be integrating across multiple data sources, we'll need access to all data sources.
This emulation process differs depending on your data sources.
Travelport
Galileo or Apollo
You'll need to submit the SBVC form. This allows Trip Ninja access to your fares via our service bureau PCC.
When you submit the form, please cc [email protected], as well as your account manager. When you receive notification that it's gone through, please inform your account manager.
Worldspan
We'll need your KYA commands to complete the emulation.
Amadeus
In order for Trip Ninja to access your fares from Amadeus, you'll need to do a certification with them as an external developer. We typically access your fares via WSAP. This process is typically quick, however, it's best to get started sooner rather than later as it can take some time for Amadeus to process.
Sabre
While we don't currently support Sabre, there are ways that we can access Sabre content. Let us know if you're on Sabre and we'll do our best to support you or find a workaround.
Low-Cost Carriers
To access your content, we'll typically need your access credentials/token and log in. If this is an LCC provider that we don't currently have integrated, we can integrate them, however, there may be a delay to launch and/or development fees associated. To avoid delay, it's best if we have a plan for which data sources to launch with as early as possible.
Consolidators
For consolidators, we'll typically need to integrate their search API. Depending on whether we've integrated them already, there may be a delay to launch and/or development fees associated. To avoid delay, it's best if we have a plan for which data sources to launch with as early as possible.
NDC Connections
We have an NDC aggregator on standby to support any NDC integrations. As with any new data source, more time is always better to avoid delays.
A consolidated approach
Depending on the number of data sources and direct connections you have, it may be best to simply implement your search API, as a means to access all of your flight inventory with a single integration. If you think that this may be the best option, please let your account manager know.
